PetDiary Privacy Policy
This document describes what data is processed by the PetDiary mobile application (the "App") and how we protect your privacy. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Who we are
The App is developed by PetDiary ("we", "us"). For any privacy-related questions, contact us at ruslee.play@gmail.com.
2. What data is processed
Inside the App you may enter the following information:
- Pet details: name, breed, date of birth, photo;
- Care events: health, activity, nutrition, grooming, training, toilet, other;
- Reminders and their settings (including recurring series);
- App preferences (interface language and similar).
All this information is entered voluntarily by you and is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's system storage (SwiftData). We do not have access to this data and do not transmit it to our servers.
3. System permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Photo Library. Used to select a pet's photo via Apple's PhotosPicker. The App receives only the images you explicitly select and stores them locally as part of the pet profile.
- Notifications. Used for local reminders about scheduled events. Notifications are scheduled and delivered by your device; no push notifications via external services are used.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your data with third parties. The App does not use:
- third-party analytics services;
- advertising networks or trackers;
- external servers for storing user data.
5. Subscriptions and payments
If a paid subscription is offered in the App, payment is processed through the Apple App Store. Apple handles payment information according to its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
6. Children
The App is not directed at users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
7. Your rights and data deletion
Because all data is stored locally on your device, at any time you can:
- delete individual records inside the App;
- uninstall the App — this removes all associated data from the device.
8. Policy changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available at this URL; the effective date is shown at the top. We will try to reflect significant changes in App updates.
